Nativity
The dress rehearsal for our Nativity
‘A King is Born’ will take place on
Monday 11th December. The
performances of the Nativity for P1
families are:
Tuesday 12th December- P1 Scots Pine / Rowan families performance
Wednesday 13th December - P1 Willow / Lime families’ performance -
Both performances are at 1:30am
Toys
I would encourage pupils not to bring their own toys to school. Children can become very upset if they are accidentally lost or broken. Electronic toys such as DS games /psps/ipods etc are not permitted at school.
Pupils are responsible for the safekeeping of all phones and toys they choose to bring to school.
School app
The school app is now ‘up and running’ and I would encourage you to download the app to your smartphones. This is another great way of ensuring good communication with families. It is very easy to install and to navigate.
Burns Night Ceilidh /
Scots Poetry Competition
We will be holding a Scots Poetry
Competition in January for our pupils.
In addition we hope to host a
Burns Night Ceilidh in January 2018
for our families. More details will follow in the
New Year.
Christmas Holidays
The school will close at 2.30pm on
Wednesday20th December
and will re-open on
Thursday4th January 2017.
Please ensure you make arrangements
for your child to be collected
at 2:30pm on Wednesday20th.
Suggestions
As you know, we are continually striving to improve
the service we provide here at
Sandwood Primary School.
Please note any comments or suggestions
which you feel could help us to improve,
or help us to help you.
We would also welcome any positive comments
as it is always encouraging to hear when we ‘have
got it right’!
