Hello everyone

Here is thesixth group of teachers that I have placed in a group. You are Group 6.

In the holiday forum I have set up a discussion so that you may meet online and introduce yourselves and your classes.I have attached a picture to show you where the Holiday forum is located. There is a discussion group set up for each group of teachers where you can share information such as introducing yourself, your students, postingimages of the school or your district. You may use the forum for thestudents to write to each other if you wish. It would be nice to shareinformation about the celebrations at Christmas in your country. What doyou eat? What will the weather be like? Do families exchange gifts? Whendo they do that? Do they attend church? At midnight or in the morning?

Each class should prepare an envelope to send to the other schools. Please note the completion dates, particularly for the schools in the southern hemisphere. Last year many of the envelopes of cards arrived after December 7 and the students did not see them until February the following year. So please try to send them to arrive in mid-November so that we can have a display before the children finish school for their long summer vacation. This group does not have anyone in the southern hemisphere so it shouldn't be a problem.

I received a letter from Albert in Uganda requesting cards for children who are orphans from war and AIDS. I have posted the letter at the end. If you are willing to send some cards to them, I am sure they would appreciate it. (This is not an exchange school).

Have fun

Judy
