Statement of FaithWe believe the Bible alone to be the only divinely inspired and eternal Word of God, the final authority for faith and life, inerrant in the original writings, infallible and God-breathed. (Psalm 119:89, 152, Isaiah 40:8, 2 Timothy 3:16-17, 2 Peter 1:19-21). We believe that there is but one God only, eternally co-existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit, who are themselves co-eternal and co-equal. (Col. 1:16-19) We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in the sufficiency of His atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension and His personal return in power and glory. (Hebrews 1, 1 Peter 2:24, Acts 5:30, Acts 1:9) As the Scripture states, we affirm that all the fullness of God was revealed in Christ in bodily form. (Col. 1:19, 2:9-10) We believe salvation is the gift of God brought to man by grace and received by faith alone in Christ alone, whose precious blood was shed on Calvary for the forgiveness of our sins. (Eph. 2:8-9, Tit. 3:5-6, Jn. 3: 14-17, Rom.10:9-10) We testify that the right and authority to become sons and daughters of God is not based on our own efforts, but is found by belief in Jesus Christ and the absolute sufficiency of His finished work on the cross to redeem mankind. (John 1:12, 1 John 5:11-13)
Educational PhilosophyWe believe God in His Word gives parents the responsibility and authority to educate their children with a God-centeredworldview. [Deut. 6:6-8, 11:118-21, Ps. 1:1-2, Lk. 6:40, Col. 3:17]
By signing below, we:
- verify that we are professing Christians and are able to affirm the CFS-VC Statement of Faith
- verify that we are privately home educating at least one school-age child. Families with all children under school age may also join.
- give CFS Valley Center permission to post pictures of our family in our group’s yearbook and on the CFSSD website.
- understand our name, phone number, and email address will be listed on a group roster that will only be made available to members of our group and to CFSSD, whose records are confidential.
