Chris has demonstrated the following Standard 4 outcomes and can:

  • Identify transfers and transformations of energy in experiments and in the generation of electricity.
  • Plan and conduct an investigation involving at least 3 transformations of energy.

Chris has also demonstrated the following Standard 5 outcomes and can:

  • Research and present her findings in a presentation format (oral, model construction, and ITC supported written and visual), the theory of plate tectonics in relation to earthquakes and volcanoes.
  • Discuss the impact of these natural disasters on life.
  • Hypothesize possible impacts of such disasters on a village, city, country and the world.
  • Analysis the efficiency levels of various forms of energy generation and discusses these findings in relation to Sustainability and the implied future energy issues.
