Options are either full or half day. You should choose a total of 4 days made up of full and / or half day options.
Some of the options require advance booking so in order to avoid disappointment, please ensure that your form is returned as soon as possible and, at the latest, by the date given on your booking details letter. You should note that BigPitMiningMuseum closes for underground tours for the whole of January each year (surface tours are still available).
It is left to you to decide when to involve students in the preparations for the course. However, it is strongly recommended that, in your pre-course meetings with students, you discuss programme options and course objectives as well as student and staff expectations.
Finally, if you would like to discuss your options Pendarren staff will be able to advise on a suitable combination of activities to provide an enjoyable and challenging programme to meet your course objectives.

Horse Riding –
GoldenCastle Riding Stables / £18.50 for two hours.
1 member of staff free for groups of up to 12 students.
Staff cannot ride with groups of 13 students.

BlackMountain Falconry Displays / The Black Mountain Falconry Centre is no longer open to visitors but will put on a display at Pendarren House.
