Fantasy League 2015

Rules

General

  • A team of 11 players made up of 5 batsmen, 2 all-rounders, 1 wicketkeeper and 3 bowlers
  • One player must be selected as a captain who will score double points
  • Overall value of each team must not exceed 67 points
  • Cost of entry is £5.00 per team with no limit on how many teams you can put in
  • All teams and fees to be handed in by the end ofthe second weekend of matches (10/05/15)(points will still be scored for the previous weekend)
  • Teams and fees to be handed in to Nathan Wallington, Danny Molyneux, or any of the club captains or vice captains
  • Results will be taken from fully recorded league and cup matches only
  • The league will start during the first weekend of matches of the 2015 season (02/05/15)
  • The league will finish with the last league matches of the 2015 season
  • First prize will be a share of the money collected (Second place and third place may also attain a share of the prize money, depending on the total number of entries)
  • At the end of every match the players must nominate a Man of the Match, who will receive a bonus 50 points.

Batting

  • Each run scores 1 point plus a bonus of 50 for scoring 50 and 100 for scoring 100
  • Each not out player scores 5 points
  • Each duck concedes 15 points for a batsman, all-rounder, or wicket-keeper, and 5 points for a bowler
  • Each golden duck concedes 30 points for a batsman, all-rounder, or wicket-keeper, and 10 points for a bowler
  • Each 6 hit scores 5 points
  • The top scorer for the innings scores a bonus 25 points

Bowling

  • Each wicket taken scores 15 points, plus a bonus of 50 for taking 5 wickets in an innings, 100 for taking a hat-trick, and 250 points for taking 10 wickets in an innings
  • An economy of 3.0 or less scores 10 points, 3.01 to 3.50 scores 5 points, 3.51 to 4.0 scores 3 points, 4.01 to 4.5 scores 1 point. An economy of over 4.51 concedes 10 points. (A minimum of 3 overs must be bowled)
  • A bowler conceding 55 or more runs concedes 20 points
  • A maiden over scores 5 points, with a maiden over containing one or more wickets scoring 10 points

Fielding

  • Each catch scores 15 points
  • Each run-out scores 15 points for all players involved
  • Each stumping scores 25 points (wicket-keeper only)

Transfers

  • There will be two transfer windows in which players can be swapped: (Sunday 7th June – Friday 12th June) and (Sunday 26th July – Friday 31st July)
  • A maximum of 2 transfers can be made during each transfer window
  • You can make 1 captain swap during each transfer window
  • Transfers obviously must not take the squad total above the 67-point limit
