IMPORTANT:
This is a distance-learning class. Each week, students will check out a DVD, watch a special TV show, and complete an assessment. They will submit the assessment to the teacher. They may choose to attend the group class or leave after giving the teacher their assessment.
  • Students may start on any date listed. They will not be behind if they start later.
  • Students must take a test. They can be tested on site.
  • Appropriate for low intermediate to advanced ESL students
  • To get started, simply come to the class!

CPCC Refugee Education Services
Students who have refugee/asylee/SIV/Parolee status qualify for direct services and can receive education assistance through CPCC.
Services include:
  • Intake, Orientation, Assessment to place students in appropriate classes
  • Community classes focusing on English language acquisition, life skills, work skills, and citizenship
  • Advising and assistance with college applications, including financial aid forms
  • Assistance with translation and certification of transcripts
