Laurel Briglevich is the Senior Community Development Officer for Greater Georgia, responsible for the company’s community lending, service and investment strategies and goals.

She joined Wells Fargo in 2013 as the Southeast Community Development Representative, coming to the bank from Atlanta Habitat for Humanity where she managed the construction of new homes and represented Atlanta Habitat's brand within the community while working with corporate sponsors, homebuyers, and volunteers.

Laurel is a member of the many Social Responsibility Groups and Contributions Councils throughout Georgia that make decisions on philanthropy, sponsorships, and reputation risk. She also sits on the 2018 Eastern Priority Markets Review Committee.

As the Diversity and Inclusion Outcomes Chair of the Georgia Pride Team Member Network, Briglevich orchestrates volunteer and charitable events with the LGBT community. In 2016, she joined the Community Relations Diversity and Inclusion Council where she sits on the Engagement and Communications committee. Laurel represents the East Coast on the enterprise-level Living Cities Steering Committee. As a member of the inaugural Wells Fargo Team Member Community, Briglevich works to improve the company’s internal processes to increase team member engagement. She is also a member of the 2017 and 2018 East Coast Small Business Appreciation Leadership Team. From 2013-2016, she co-chaired the East Coast Financial Education Planning team, a group that captures and promotes best practices for financial education campaigns. Laurel sat on the Atlanta Volunteer Board from 2013-2015, leading the Community Development committee and a member of the Communications committee. She was the Co-President of the Atlanta Green Team from 2013-2015, leading over 300 team members in green volunteer activities and campaigns.

Briglevich is active with many non-profits, focusing on affordable housing, education, small business growth, and LGBT equality. She served three terms on the Atlanta Women’s Build Board and Executive Build Day Committee. Laurel joined the board of the Georgia Micro-Enterprise Network in 2016 and sits on the Strategic Planning committee. Briglevich is also a board member of Bank On Savannah. She was recognized corporate-wide in 2014 and 2015 as a Wells Fargo Volunteer Service Award winner and was the 2015 Atlanta Volunteer of the Year.

Laurel graduated summa cum laude from Queens University in Charlotte, NC. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Human Rights and Global Conflict with Minors in Business Administration and Spanish. Briglevich was named her class’ Outstanding Core Student and received the Loren Fauchier Award in International Studies for her work on immigration. She is currently attending The Pennsylvania State University for her Master’s degree in Economic and Community Development. Laurel resides in Atlanta, Georgia.
