Chicago Detours brings curious people to explore stories and places locals don’t even know through guided tours of Chicago architecture, history and culture. Our public and private group tours of interior architecture and historic bars create an interactive group dynamic and share new perspectives and educational tools for understanding the architecture and history of Chicago. With a commitment to socially responsible travel, we believe that the primary role of a tour guide is to educate.

This scholarship was created from the generous gifts of guests on our regularly scheduled public walking tours, including the Loop Interior Architecture Tour and the 1893 World’s Fair Tour.
