Incoming Freshman Application

Requirements

 Must be a resident of the Northern Virginia area (Fairfax, Arlington, Prince William, Stafford, Fauquier and Loudoun counties; Cities of Alexandria, Culpepper, Falls Church, Fairfax, Manassas, Manassas Park and Fredericksburg)

 Must have at least a 2.8 GPA on a 4.0 scale

 Must complete scholarship application with required documents

 Must submit a current official, sealed high school transcript

 Must submit one personal recommendation (Examples: teacher, counselor, minister, employer, etc. relatives excluded)

 Must compose a short essay, typed, double-spaced, not to exceed 500 words

 Applications must be postmarked by April 14, 2018.

 Scholarship recipients will be notified no later than June 16, 2018.

 After proper verification of enrollment at Hampton University has been made, scholarship payments will be made to Hampton University’s Business Office.
