GENERAL POSITION DESCRIPTION

The Human Resources Assistant for Cherry Cove position is a full-time Non-Exempt position reporting directly to the Human Resources Manager. The Human Resources Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support to the Human Resources Manager and Cherry Cove Corporate leadership.

QUALIFICATIONS

·  Above average oral/written communication and organizational skills required

·  Excellent interpersonal, organization and communication skills required

·  Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment required

SCHEDULE & WORKING CONDITIONS

·  Incumbent will typically report for duty at the corporate home office

·  Incumbent may be required to travel locally to company properties to liaison with managers and employees in the performance of duties.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Human Resources Assistant: will assist administratively with the overall provision of Human Resources services, policies, and programs for the entire company. The major areas directed are:

·  Assists with recruitment and interview process

·  Conducts benefits enrollment for new employees;

·  Submits the online investigation requests and assists with new employee background checks.

·  Updates HR spreadsheet with employee change requests and processes paperwork.

·  Assists HR Manager with various research projects and/or special projects.

·  Schedules meetings and interviews as requested by HR Manager.

·  Schedules conferences by reserving facilities at local hotels and/or restaurants.

·  Organizational and space planning;

·  Organization development;

·  Employee orientation, development, and training;

·  Makes photocopies, faxes documents and performs other clerical functions;

·  Files papers and documents into appropriate employee files;

·  Assists or prepares correspondence;

·  Prepares new employee file;

·  Processes mail;

·  Reconciles Benefit Statements

·  Performs other duties as assigned;

Administrative Assistance: Provides general administrative support to the Company Board of Directors (i.e. scheduling, reception, meeting coordination) and actively participates in discussions pertaining to human resources. Incumbent will perform data entry, analysis, and archiving of critical resource (i.e. financial, inventory, personnel) information.

General Office Support: There may be instances when the employee may be asked to provide customer service coverage and support for other areas of the office.
