Check List before submission
The author (s) must ensure that before submitting the manuscript, they have taken care of
the following:
1. Manuscripts should be prepared following Uniform requirements for manuscripts submitted to
Biomedical Journals as approved by the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors(
2. All original manuscripts should have Abstract up to 250 words. It should consist of Objective, Methodology, Results, Conclusions and Key Words.
3. Maximum length of the manuscripts should be: Original Articles: 2400 words, maximum of fourtables, illustrations, maximum references upto 24. Case Reports/Brief Communications: 1500words, 10 References, maximum of two illustrations. Review Articles: 3000 words including briefsummary describing the methods used for locating, selecting, extracting and synthesizing data.Maximum 40 latest and relevant references. Number of figures and tables should be total of four.
4. Processing Charges: All manuscript from Pakistan must be accompanied with a Cash or Bank Draft for Rs. 2000/- (In case of overseas US $ 150/-) as processing charges (Non-refundable) in the name of ‘PMA Rawal Medical Journal’. Please upload the copy of bank receipt during submission process.
5. The manuscript should be accompanied by Author Certificate and Transfer of Copyrights filled completely and signed by Corresponding author.
6. The manuscripts should be submitted on our website Figures should beuploaded as supplementary files.
7. Pictures, illustrations should be submitted in JPEG format & manuscript and tables in MS word format.
8. Title page should contain title of the write-up, Name of the author/co-authors, their qualifications, designation and institutional affiliation with and mailing address for future correspondence,E-mail address, Phone, Cell Phone and Fax number besides a short running title of the manuscript.
9. References should be mentioned as 1,2,3 and so on as they appear in the text in superscript and not by full names ofauthors. At the end of the manuscript the references should also be numbered accordingly. References at the end must be Vancouver style.
10. Check the total/percentage in the tables carefully.
12. Headings of Tables and figures, their numbers and captions should be on top. Don’t repeat theinformation in tables if it is covered in the text. All figures and tables should be referenced in text by number.
13. All Clinical Trials submitted for publication must be registered in a registry. Provide registration proof.
14. All randomized control trials should be prepared according to CONSORT Guidelines.
