Directory Volunteer Needed
When you become a PTA member, you receive a school directory. Great for keeping in touch with all your IVE friends. We are looking for someone to put the directory together. You can do this at home whenever you have time.
You’ll gather and review the student and family data and compile into an excel document. Work closely with the school secretary, and ensure the directory is printed according to instructions and delivered to PTA members.
Join the PTA! Membership is only at60%and we need to get to100%
Have you become an Issaquah Valley PTA member yet?
Sign up before December 15th and you'll be entered to win a night at Great Wolf Lodge!
If not, we would love to have you join! The PTA serves all of the students at our school, works closely with the teachers and staff to provide much needed resources for our students, and provides family engagement opportunities for every family.
Our goal is 100% membership – we are currently at 60%. Becoming a member doesn’t obligate you to volunteer, it simply gives each student at our school a voice and a representative. Did you know that our PTA actively advocates for your student at the state level to provide funding, resources for public education? We need our voices to be heard and you can do that simply through your membership.
Please consider becoming a member!

Yearbook Pictures and Cover Contest…
Good News! The Yearbook Cover Contesthas been extended for the5th Graders. Entries are due byDecember15th.
We need your Pictures!! Start taking them now! The upcoming Fall Festival / Halloween Parties are the perfect opportunity. We can't wait to see all those costume pictures.
The majority of the yearbook pictures are taken by you...our wonderful parents and volunteers of IVE. Throughout the year, we want youto submit pictures from school events and community activities. We strive to have every child in the yearbook a couple times.
- Room Parents– We need each room parent to send us 10-15 photographs of their class, with each student in at least one photograph. It’s best if you can get small groups of 3-5 students in each photograph. They can be taken while you volunteer, at a holiday party, or whenever you visit the classroom.
- School Events– If you are there and take pictures, please uploadyour pictures to our online site. Directions to create an account and upload are on the Yearbook Page!
- Go to the Yearbook Page for directions how to upload photos to the Lifetouch Community Site.
