Advancing Manufacturing Award
INTRODUCTION

The Technology Issues Committee of AMT – The Association For Manufacturing Technology created the Charles F. Carter Jr., Advancing Manufacturing Award to honor contribution to the advancement of manufacturing technology, especially related to members of AMT.

An award recipient is recognized by AMT as contributing to the advancement of the industry by providing enabling research that has been put into practice.

To receive the award, the recipient must be nominated by an AMT member and selected by the Technology Issues Committee of AMT.

If you wish to nominate an individual for this award, follow the nomination procedure listed below and complete the included submittal form with appropriate letters of support.

NOMINATION PROCESS

1.  The sponsor must be a member of AMT.

Note: There may be more than one sponsoring individual and AMT company. If there is more than one sponsor, a lead sponsor must be identified who will be responsible for the submittal of all information.

2.  The sponsor or lead sponsor is responsible for obtaining three (3) letters of support from industry representatives acquainted with the nominee’s qualifications outlined on the submittal form.

3.  Send all information (i.e. this form, letters of support, etc.) to:

NOMINATION CRITERIA

The following criteria will be considered in the selection of the award winner:

-  Innovation achieved for industry.

-  Development program(s) PUT TO PRACTICE with AMT member companies that have resulted in positive results for the member and the manufacturing community.

-  Students placed in the manufacturing community.
