Scene1.
(The characters are digging and planting seedsin the garden and singing.)

Grandmother: We are tired. Let’s go and have some tea.
Grandfather: With pleasure.
Masha: I’m so hungry. I’d like to eat a big piece of cake.
Cat: It’s great. I’d like some tea and a sandwich.
Dog: All right. I’d like some tea and a sausage.
Mouse: I would like to have some cheese.
Scene2
(Vegetables are growing and singing)
One potato ( carrot, onion, raddish),
Two potatoes,
Three potatoes,
Four.
Five potatoes,
Six potatoes,
Seven potatoes more.
(Grandfather comes in )
Grandfather: How many vegetables! They are nice. Let’s count: one, two, three… Oh, what a big turnip it is! That’s great! (He tries to pull it out) Up! Down! Aside! Oh, I can’t. Granny, come here!
Grandmother: I’m coming! Oh, what a nice yellow turnip! Let’s try to pull it out.
Grandpa and grandma (together): Up! Down! (3 times) Sit down!
Grandfather: We can’t pull it out. Let’s call Masha. Masha, come here! Is she at home?
Grandmother: No, she isn’t. Let’s go and have some tea.
Grandfather: All right.
Scene3
(Vegetables are playing in the garden.)
Clap, clap, clap your hands,
Clap your hands together.
Stamp, stamp, stamp your feet,
Stamp your feet together.
Nod, nod, nod your head,

(Masha comes in)
Masha: Hi! My name is Masha. I live on a farm. I love my granny and grandpa.
I like to read,

(Grandpa and grandma come in)
Grandfather: Masha, we are looking for you. Help us, please! This turnip is very big.
Masha: OK.
Grandmother: Let’s try to pull the turnip out again.
Up! Down! (2 times) Sit down!
Grandpa, grandma and Masha: Zhuchka! Come here! Help us!
Zhuchka:Bow-wow! I’m coming! Hello! Nice to meet you! I like sport. Let’s do some exercises.
Everybody(together)
Hands up, hands down,
Hands on hips, sit down.
Hands up, to the sides,
Bend left, bend right.

Zhuchka: We are ready now.
Everybody: Up! Down! (2 times) Sit down!
Grandpa: Let’s call Murka.
Everybody: Murka! Murka! Come here! Help us please!
Murka: Hello! I’m Murka. I love you very much.
(Masha sings)
I love my sweet Pussy,
Her coat is so warm.
And if I don’t harm her,
She’ll give me her charm.
I shan’t pull her long tail
Or drive her away.
Together with Pussy
We’ll walk and we’ll play.
