In signing this application for the Changepoints for Living, Inc, Changepoints Basic Training for Coaches, I understand that

  • I am responsible for completing all coursework, homework, reading and participation in scheduled teleconferences to finish Level 1 in order to qualify for Level 2
  • I am required to attend the full session of Level 2, face to face training, at the location designated, complete all coursework, homework and reading prior to and during this training and participate in the training exercises to complete Level 2.
  • I understand that attendance alone is not sufficient to earn certification. Changepoints for Living Certification is based upon satisfactory completion of Level 1 and Level 2 training and the recommendation of the professional coach training team.
  • Certification in Changepoints Basic Training for Coaches is the prerequisite for application to Advanced Training with the Institute for Relational Harm Reduction and does not imply or assure acceptance by the Institute.
  • Each candidate is responsible for having adequate computer and online access including the ability to download, connect and perform tasks necessary to participate.
  • Tuition for Level 1 is $249 (Plus an Administration Fee from The Institute who is handling this for us). Tuition for Level 2 is $249 (Plus Administration Fee). Tuition is due in full one week prior to the first session of each level and is non-refundable. If a student encounters a significant medical, work or family crisis that prevents participation, the pre-paid tuition will be applied to the next scheduled session unless a refund request is made by email (followed by signed written letter) no later than 48 hours prior to the start of the course. There is no refund after the first session of either level begins.
  • If a student misses more than one segment of Level 2 due to documented weather emergencies or transportation failure, alternative options may be negotiated with the professional coach training team or the student will receive priority registration in the next Level 2 training.
  • All students are expected to assume financial responsibility for all expenses above the tuition cost during the Level 2 training including making their own arrangements for transportation to the training city, transportation to and from any airport or other arrival sites, reservations at the designated hotel, food and personal expenses.
  • Information on the host hotel and nearest airport will be providedto each student upon completion of this application and receipt of tuition.
