The Premier’s be active Challenge continues to grow in 2008. Following on from our successful inaugural year last year(7457 completions) we already have almost20,000 new students registered for the Challenge in 2008! For those who gained a bronze medal last year, a silver medal will be their reward for completing four weeks of at least 60 minutes of daily physical activity.
Over 70 schools have already taken advantage of registering a Challenge Super Coordinator.Super Coordinators are given the powers to access and manage their whole school’s data on the web site. Nomination forms are available on our downloads page.
What’s new on the website?
  • The Challenge administration has been made much simpler for coordinators with a paper-based as well as an online data entry option for participants.
  • Challenge approvals are now as simple as ticking a box for your whole class.
  • Game of the Week is updated every Monday on our Downloads/Curriculum Resources page. Game of the Week provides a range of resources from ACHPER, Active After Schools Communities and Australian Sports Commission ‘SportAbility’. As well as a new game each week, contact and product information is also included.
