and ½ of the monies due. The balance of fees and dues must be paid upon acceptance by the club. All fees
must be paid before the boat is put into the water, dockage, or a winter storage area. Costs shown are subject

RULES OF DOCKAGE

  1. If accepted into Chagrin River Yacht Club prior to March Dock Bidding member must bid on available docks according to seniority following the rules of dock bidding as stated in the constitution and bylaws.
  1. If accepted into Chagrin River Yacht Club prior to June Dock Bidding member must bid on available docks according to seniority following the rules of dock bidding as stated in the constitution and bylaws.
  1. If accepted into Chagrin River Yacht Club after the June Dock Bidding member will be assigned a dock for the remainder of the year, and will be required to bid on an available dock the following March following the Dock Bidding Rules as stated in the constitution and bylaws.
  1. If accepted into the Chagrin River Yacht Club and a River Area Dock is assigned I/We understand this is not a permanent dock area and will be required to bid on inside dockage as it becomes available, following the rules of dock bidding as stated in the constitution and bylaws.
  1. I/We understand that if I/We purchase a larger boat at a later date and a River Area Dock is assigned, Rule#4 shall still apply.

Club dues of $380.00 and activity fees of $100.00 must be paid on or before the meeting in February
Half the balance of dockage is due by May 1st; the other half is due by October 1st.
The official boating season is from May 1st to November 1st of each year. Any boat not out of the water
will be charged 10 cents per foot per day until the boat is removed from club grounds or taken out of the water.
Club members are expected to take part in club activities. It is your responsibility to maintain your dock
and dock area, keep it clean, keep grass cut and deposit your rubbish into rubbish hoppers when you leave.
When working on your boat, pick up paint cans, thinners, anti-freeze, waste oil and remove them from the
club grounds.
We\I the undersigned, hereby as a condition and in consideration of C.R.Y.C. Inc. providing to us dockage
space and \or assistance in cleaning, repairing, of lifting of any boat into or out of the water, hereby releases,
acquits and discharges C.R.Y.C., Its officers and employees from any and all liability for damages to your
boat and equipment, condition of walkways, dockage areas, or surrounding grounds, regardless of cause,
negligence or lack of proper care. Further, we hereby agree to indemnify C.R.Y.C. Inc., its officers and
employees from any claim, or demand brought against them by any person who has been invited upon the
grounds of C.R.Y.C. Inc., either as a guest of ours or a business invitee. As stated in Ohio Revised Code,
Chapter 4585, in the event of obligation being due, the Chagrin River Yacht Club shall have a lien on each
boat and its equipment.
The applicant, by signature, assures the C.R.Y.C., that he\she has read and understands all the regulations
on the attached sheets and that the terms and provisions of the application constitute the entire and exclusive
agreement of the parties. Applicant further agrees to abide by the rules as set forth in the Club Constitution
Bylaws Rules of Ground and Harbor.
Please notify the Club in writing of changes in address, phone number, if you sell your boat or buy another,
or if you add, change, or delete your insurance. The information you provide the Club can be very important if
any emergency situation should arise. Remember, it’s your investment - Protect It!
