Mission Statement

Here at Le Grande Soiree events believe that every party has its own story. Whether you are planning the weeding of your dreams, your child’s sweet 16, or even a 50th anniversary. We want to make every event as special as possible. You’re event will be a lasting memory in someone’s life, so let’s make that memory last forever with a grand party!

Le Grand Fete Events, is an event planning company that plans and coordinates many different types of events based on the client’s dreams and what they want their event to be. Le Grand Fete Events was founded and created in 2016 by Lissah Howell in Atlantic City New Jersey. Lissah has always loved big parties, especially weddings which are the main reason she decided to pursue wedding and event planning. She also was influenced by television show like “Say Yes to the Dress’ and “Four Weddings”. Le Grand Fete Events will make sure that all our client’s needs and wants are met. Le Grand Fete Events targets anyone that is too busy to plan every detail of their event, someone who needs help planning, or even someone who just needs advice on how to go about planning an amazing event. Our goal is to be the number one full service event business in New Jersey. As well as making any event a lasting memory in someone’s life.

Here at Le Grande Soiree, We know that every milestone in life has its own story, so wouldn’t you want to tell that story with a grand party. As a certified wedding and event planner I am able to provide exceptional wedding planning services, whether it is only the day of, just some questions on what vendors to use, or even help planning your entire wedding event. I can also provide assistance with engagement parties, bridal showers, bachelorette parties, birthday parties, corporate events, anniversaries, etc… All of your party needs I will assist with. My goal is to make you’re special day tell your story the way you want it portrayed. I want your day to be as special as possible without the stress of planning it on your own.

Initial Client Contact

Our initial contact with each other will be through phone or email. We will go over what you feel you need from me as a planner and from there we can set up a time and place to meet face to face.

We will meet wherever you (the bride and/or groom) are comfortable. We can meet over coffee or dinner or even at your home. Any expenses will be covered by me and I do encourage that the bride and groom bring friends, family, or anyone that is going to be helping with the planning. If it is not possible to meet in person we can have a meeting over skype.

I will email you the wedding questionnaire so you can fill it out before our face to face meeting. If we are meeting over skype you can fill it out over email. This questionnaire will help me plan your special day how you want it, to make sure all your wants and needs are met. When we meet I will also give you a fold with a lot of different things in it, some of the things are as follows:

~ Preparation for your Wedding Day ~

v  Initial consultation to explain the planning & coordination process

v  Unlimited email and phone communication from date of contract

v  Assist bride and groom with any last minute details during the month prior to the wedding.

v  All vendors listed on the contract will be contacted 2 weeks prior to your wedding to verify details of their services

v  One week prior to your wedding all vendors listed will be contacted to finalize any payments.

~ Rehearsal~

v  Attend and organize rehearsal, and rehearsal dinner

v  Develop and distribute wedding day itinerary

v  Develop and distribute checklists for each member of the wedding party for their “day of” responsibilities.

v  Finalize all detail with bride and groom

~ Wedding Day ~

v  Up to 8 hours of service on your wedding. (time is negotiable)

v  Manage all wedding vendor per your instructions.

v  Manage and assist wedding party.

v  Manage vendor and decoration set up at both ceremony and reception sites.

v  Organize and distribute all personal flowers or accessories to wedding party, family members, and special guests.

~ Wedding Day Cont. ~

v  Bridal Emergency kit- aspirin, energy bars, snacks, sewing kit, tide stick, hair spray, mouth wash, etc…

v  Oversee the wedding ceremony

v  Set/ break down of tables, table numbers, names, place cards, favors, toasting glasses, and serving sets per your instructions

v  Coordinate all events/ announcements during reception.

v  Pay any remaining balances and/or tips to vendors

v  Return any borrowed or rented items as agreed upon to proper party.

~ Agreement ~

The cost of Le Grande Soiree event planning services will be $800 for number of guest 0-250, and additional charge of $150 will be added for number of guests exceeding 250.

Le Grande Soiree event planning is not responsible for acquiring or securing any services or vendors related to event.

Le Grande Soiree Event Planning is only responsible for the organizing of the wedding party, vendors, guests, venue, and venue workers on the day of the wedding along with assisting bride and groom with last minute details during the month prior to the wedding.

This agreement contains the understanding between Lissah Howell (coordinator) and ______(Client). It supersedes any prior agreements between the parties. The only way to change or add to this agreement is to do so in writing, and all parties must sign a new agreement if any additions or changes.

A deposit of $250 is required to reserve your wedding date and is due when you sign the contract. Once deposit is paid and contract is signed, Le Grande Soiree event planning can not book any other even during the date and time of your event, as well as ______cannot book any other type of wedding coordinating services for your wedding. The remainder of the charge for the package will be due the day of your wedding.

The coordinator is limited by the guidelines/ rules of ceremony and/or reception site. All rules set by each venue will be followed.

~ Cancellation Policy ~

If for any reason Le Grande Soiree Event Planning is unable to follow through with contract due to illness or hospitalization all deposits are 100% refundable and Le Grande Soiree Event planning will do our best to find a substitute coordinator.

If wedding is cancelled or postponed due to a natural disaster such as hurricane, flood, earthquake, tornado, etc… your deposit is 100% refundable.

You may change your mind or cancel at anytime within reason. Meaning you may cancel at anytime with a full refund up to 30 days prior to your wedding. If you cancel within that 30 day window you will not receive any refund.

If the coordinator discovers any new information, changes to agreed circumstances, or any other changes with out previous discussion, or other factors which will circumvent the agreement may result in withdrawal from coordinator. Should this take place all fees will be returned except deposit of $250.

By signing this agreement you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms listed in this contract. The undersigned will have Le Grande Soiree Wedding and Event planning as their official day of coordinator for their wedding on ______, 20___.

~All Inclusive Wedding Planning~

v  Advice on how to personalize your wedding and how to stay within budget

v  Assist bride and groom with any details during all the months prior to the wedding.

v  Give bride and groom suggestions on preferred vendors

v  Handle all interactions with vendors before, during, and after wedding

v  All vendors listed on the contract will be contacted 2 weeks prior to your wedding to verify details of their services

v  Help create guest list with all parties involved, as well as help make and put together invitations and RSVP cards

v  Handle ALL RSVP calls or emails

v  Help Bride and Groom with any appointments needed including but not limited to fittings, alterations, cake/food tasting, and picking out locations for ceremony and/or reception.

v  One week prior to your wedding all vendors listed will be contacted to finalize any payments.
