SBE releases new certification exam preparation software
May 24, 2010 Indianapolis, IN - The Society of Broadcast Engineers has unveiled the new SBE CertPreview, SBE's Certification exam preparation software. For the past six months, the SBE has been working to create a more convenient and interactive CertPreview. Compatible with both Windows and Macintosh computers, the new SBE CertPreview allows users to download CertPreview from the SBE website immediately after purchasing the software. The new software will also be available on a CD and mailed to the buyer. The downloaded version will cost $29, while the CD will cost $33 plus $3.00 shipping and handling.
The new SBE CertPreview contains over 100 sample questions for each certification level that it covers. The user has the ability to review and change his or her answers prior to scoring the sample exam, and will have the ability to revisit the questions within the sample exam after the scoring process. A breakdown of the topical categories is within the exam that can help the user identify where his or her strengths and weaknesses are. For more information about the SBE CertPreview or to purchase the software, visit the SBE website at
"This version of SBE CertPreview gives us better tools to enhance and update the program and database of questions going forward,” stated SBE national certification committee chairman Jim Bernier, CPBE, CBNT. “Purchasers will be able to download updates and immediately begin studying for the certification exam."

SBE has the opportunity with the new SBE CertPreview to update questions and content on a real time basis, providing the user the most up-to-date information they need for the exams."
