COURSE INFORMATION
Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety (BSB41412) is a comprehensive course for participants looking at entering the Work Health and Safety (WHS) field. Participants are trained in five (5) core units and five (5) elective units that make up the
BSB41412 Certificate IV Accreditation.
Core Certificate IV Units are:
BSBWHS402A - Assist with compliance with WHS laws
BSBWHS403A - Contribute to implementing and maintaining WHS consultation and participation processes
BSBWHS404A - Contribute to WHS hazard identification, risk assessment and risk control
BSBWHS405A - Contribute to implementing and maintaining WHS management systems
BSBWHS406A - Assist with responding to incidents / Elective Certificate IV Units are:
BSBWHS510A - Contribute to implementing emergency procedures
BSBWHS410A - Contribute to work-related health and safety measures and initiatives
BSBWRT401A - Write a Complex Document
BSBWHS408A - Assist with effective WHS management of contractors
BSBCMM401A - Make a presentation
This course is a six (6) day course, split into three (3) two (2) day blocks of face-to-face training with assessments to be completed after each two (2) day block. Participants must complete the course within a 12 month period.

Successful participants will be awarded the Nationally Accredited Certificate IV in WHS through Registered Training Organisation
Arctic Star Pty Limited. RTO No 91578.
Students who successfully complete modules of training will be awarded nationally recognised Statements of Attainment.

PRE-PAYMENT POLICY
All Arctic Star Pty Limited courses require pre-payment of $1,000 on enrolment. If pre-payment cannot be arranged prior to the first day of the course, Arctic Star Pty Limited must be advised to ensure alternative arrangements can be made. Any additional payments of up to $1,500 must be made at completion of fifty percent (50%) of the course. Final payments must be made prior to issuing any certification.

CANCELLATION POLICY
A cancellation fee of 25% of the course fee applies if the cancellation is made more than 21days before course commencement date. A 100% cancellation fee is applicable within one week of the course commencement date.
