Welcome message

This TAA40104 to TAE40110 Upgrade RPL Kit is designed to help you put together evidence through a recognition process to achieve the upgraded qualification of Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110). This is a formal process that is based on a portfolio of evidence submitted by you, the candidate.

MRWED has developed this Upgrade RPL Kit to make applying for the upgraded qualification as easy as possible. The evidence check lists and templates that have been created as part of this kit will not guarantee your eligibility; additional evidence may be requested by a MRWED Learning Leader to support your claim of current competency

How much does it cost?

·  $199 if you completed TAA40104 with MRWED

·  $249 for all other applicants

These prices include all RPL assessment fees and issuance where all Units of Competency completed in TAA40104 map across to TAE40110. If this is not the case (usually because the applicant did not complete the TAADEL402A elective unit in TAA40104 then additional RPL fees may be payable). A copy of the mapping analysis is available from www.mrwed.edu.au.

What happens after I apply?

After receiving your application MRWED will immediately process your payment or issue an invoice (if requested). Within 5 days of receiving your payment a MRWED Learning Leader will contact you with the result of your application.

After your eligibility to receive the upgrade is confirmed your Certificate will be issued within 7 days.

What happens if my application is unsuccessful?

If there is insufficient evidence to complete your upgrade you will be contacted by a MRWED Learning leader advising of the specific gaps in your application. If you are unable to provide the necessary evidence, the MRWED Learning Leader will discuss Training options with you. Upon request the applicant will be given a full refund of their Upgrade course fee.

Section 3 - Language Literacy and Numeracy (LLN)

MRWED Training and Assessment is committed to supporting all of its students in successfully completing their selected qualification/s. As such we applaud the research that has been undertaken in understanding students LLN needs. Research clearly indicates that many students require some level of LLN support.

At MRWED our desire is to understand any need that you, as a student, may have in regards to LLN. To assist you in this area we ask for you to either opt in or opt out of an LLN assessment, which will assist both you and us in ensuring the best outcomes possible for you.

For MRWED to best accommodate this we ask that every student select one of the following:

- I appreciate that MRWED is interested in my LLN standard, however I affirm that I do not require any assistance with LLN for the course I am choosing to undertake - Please finalise my enrolment.
*If you have selected this option your enrolment will be processed on receipt of your completed enrolment form. / - I am unsure if my LLN standard is sufficient for the level of study I am undertaking, therefore I elect to submit the completed LLN assessment to MRWED for assessment.
*If you have selected this option your enrolment will not be processed until a formal LLN assessment has been completed. A MRWED Learning Leader will be in contact with you to arrange this assessment.
