1. Know all men by these presents that we (1) S/O-D/O

(hereinafter called the Sponsor) are held and firmly bound unto the PIEAS through Rector, Pakistan Institute of Engineering and Applied Sciences (PIEAS), Nilore, Islamabad to pay in lump sum an amount equivalent to monthly stipend received by him/her and other expenditures incurred on him/her per year to PIEAS its successors or assigns which amount we will not question to be paid to PIEAS, its successors or assigns for which payment well and truly to be made, we hereby bind ourselves each of us, and each of our heirs, executors, administrators jointly and severally as per para 2 of this Deed.

2. Whereas, on his/her request, the Rector PIEAS has selected the Fellow for studies at Pakistan Institute of Engineering and Applied Sciences P.O. Nilore, Islamabad, under the local training programme, the parties here-to agree to the following conditions: -
i) If the Fellow successfully completes the course at PIEAS, he/she shall serve Pakistan for a period of five years.
ii) If the Fellow either cannot continue his/her studies at PIEAS for reasons acceptable to Rector, PIEAS, P.O. Nilore Islamabad or fails in any of the examinations, the Rector, PIEAS has the right to extend/terminate his/her fellowship as deemed fit.
iii) In case the Rector, PIEAS feels that performance of the Fellow is not up to the mark and he/she decides to leave the course without completing the same or he/she is trying deliberately to fail in the exams or is declared failed because of absenting himself/herself in the sessional/terminal exams or has not been allowed to appear in the exams because of having less than 80% attendance and resultantly declared failed; an amount equivalent to monthly stipend received by him/her and other expenditures incurred on him/her per year will be charged.
iv) If the Fellow himself/herself leaves/absconds from the course, the Rector, PIEAS will determine an amount equivalent to monthly stipend received by him/her and other expenditures incurred on him/her per year which the Fellow and sponsor shall not question and agree to pay the same to the Institute in lump sum. In case the Fellow leaves/absconds after registration for the reasons not acceptable to Rector, PIEAS, he/she, besides being liable for the recovery, if any, would also be debarred from future admission at PIEAS.
(v) In case the Fellow does not join the service of any organization within Pakistan after successful completion of the course, an amount equivalent to monthly stipend received by him/her and other expenditures incurred on him/her shall be paid to PIEAS in lump sum jointly and severally by the Fellow and his/her Sponsor which they both agree to pay and the decision of Institute in this regard shall be final and binding upon the Fellow and his/her Sponsor and shall not be questioned by fellow and Sponsor in any manner.
vi) In case the Fellow absconds, after joining as per preceding clause 2(i), before completion of the required five years service, the proportionate amount of total bond money (i.e. amount equivalent to monthly stipend received by him/her and other expenditures incurred on him/her during study period) shall be paid to PIEAS in lumpsum jointly and severally by the Fellow and his/her Sponsor which they both agree to pay and decision of Institute in this regard shall be final and binding upon the Fellow and his/her Sponsor and shall not be questioned by the Fellow & Sponsor in any manner.
vii) In case the conditions applicable are fulfilled, the above agreement shall be of no effect, other wise it shall remain in full force and virtue.
3. Attested copies of the property, valuing Rs. in respect of the ‘Fellow/Sponsor’ are annexed hereto in support of their financial status.
