7:45 am Report to Beaverton Band Room (behind the school) in uniform

8:00 am Load buses and depart for CMU by 8:15 am

EVERYONE STAYS TOGETHER THE ENTIRE DAY.

9:00 am All-Star Bandsmen arrive at Kelly/Shorts Stadium. All buses and other vehicles will Park in Lot 71, West of the Stadium. Maps have been sent. Upon

arrival, each director is asked to check in with Dr. Batcheller, our graduate assistants, or drum majors to receive field charts with your band’s position. No field charts are included in this mailing and all bands will be placed on the field in the order in which they report. All performers should be in uniform when you arrive, as there are no facilities at the stadium suitable for large groups changing clothes

9:15 am Assume rehearsal position as per information on the field chart. Please be prompt. Sectional rehearsals will begin once the massed band has been placed.

9:30 am Rehearsal begins: Sectionals, Full Band. The Marching Chips will present a special musical salute to the visiting bandsmen at the end of rehearsal.

12:15 pm – 1:45 pm Lunch @ Vowles Elementary School (1560 Watson Rd). Our buses will take us to this site. It is easier to use the drive off of Crawford Rd/Broomfield Rds…. Beaverton students need to bring a lunch, drinks, and snacks. Return to stadium by 2:45 pm to watch CMU band during Pre-game.

3:10 pm The CMU Marching Band will enter for the pre-game ceremony and the playing of our National Anthem. All visiting bands must be seated well in advance of this time to avoid the crowds.

3:30 pm CMU vs. Miami University

7:30 pm Approximate time game will end. We will walk back to buses as a group. Load buses and head for home as soon as roll call is taken.

9 pm Arrive back to Beaverton. Parents: Please arrive @ BHS behind the band room by 9 pm ready to pick your children up.

Students should pack snacks, drinks, and a LUNCH. They will also need spending money throughout the day/at game. I suggest no more than $20 for food/drinks at stadium. You may want to send more if they want a souvenir/t-shirt/hoodie/etc.....
