GP Position
- Due to retirement we have an opportunity to welcome applications for the position of GP in our lovely, large, contemporary, spacious building with private parking.
- We pride ourselves on our reputation and very high patient satisfaction (current list size 6,800), whilst maintaining an excellent team. Our team consists of:
Three Partners
Managing Partner
Two practice nurses
Two counsellors
Midwife
Frailty Nurse
Two Health Visitors
We also offer Stop Smoking Wales clinics, minor operations and immunisation clinics
- We have ten consulting rooms with each clinician having their own assigned consulting room.
- We are proud to invest in the next generation and work closely with Cardiff University, teaching 3rd and 5th year medical students.
- We have a calm working environment and promote a positive work/life balance. Although days can be busy they are rarely beyond a level that we are comfortable with.
- We welcome applicants who have a special interest that could be explored/expanded.
- There is a pharmacy in the building which makes our working day much easier for all.
- We were commended by the Healthcare Inspectorate Wales in 2017, in particular for our strengths in working as a team, and how efficiently and organised the practice was managed.
- We welcome flexible working and reduced hours/sessions.
Cardiff was ranked third best capital city in Europe in a recent EU survey and has more green space per capita in the centre than any other city in the UK. Drive for 30 minutes and you can be in the middle of the Brecon Beacons National Park; add a little on to that time and you’ll reach the beautiful, unspoiled beaches of the Gower, and a little further to get to Pembrokeshire.
