2. Awrittenstatementofnomorethan3pages,outliningyourresearchprojectandhowit will benefitCaliforniarecreationalfisheries.

3. Acoverletterofnomorethan2pagesdescribingyourqualifications,interests,careergoals, participationinconservationactivities,andtheway(s)yourproposedprojectisrelevant, applicable,andbeneficialtosportfishing.

Theselectedcandidateforeachscholarshipagreesto:

1. Givea15-20minutepresentationofprojectresearchtoclubmembersatamutuallyagreed dateandtime.

2. Establishandmaintaincontactwithclubbyvisit,letter/e-mail,ortelephonefortheperiodof thescholarshipplusoneyear.

3. AppropriatelyrecognizeDVFFforsupportreceivedin anypublicationsresultingfromthis research/thesis,andprovideacopyofthepublication.
