2. Spring Fair *NEW DATE* June 4th 11am to 3pm-
Spring Fair Auction Preview Night June 3rd 6:30pm to 8pm-
The Spring Fair is so much fun but did you know that the Spring Fair is our biggest fundraiser of the year? Our Fundraising efforts all year help the PTA to bring Science Fair, STEM Night, Book Fair, Indoor Recess Equipment, Thanksgiving Baskets, Dolphin Dash, Field Day, SCH Judges Lunch, End of the Year Picnics, Staff Appreciation, World Showcase, Movie Night, Support of Homewood School Staff, Cultural Arts Grade Level Assemblies, 5th Grade Closing Reception, Outdoor Recess Equipment, Yearbook, Spirit Wear, Reflections Art Program, Walk & Wheel Wednesday’s, Yoga Night to our CLES Students and Staff.

Show your Fair Spirit! Each student wearing a RED shirt will be entered in a raffle to win a wrist band! Upcoming Thrilling Thursdays are on Thursday 5/26 and 6/2.

5. Field Day-MAY 25th :
It’s that time of year again! Time to plan for CLES’ annual Field Day. This year’s theme is “Get on Board with Board Games.” The date of Field Day is Friday, May 13th (with a rain date of Wednesday, May 25th). Field Day will be divided into two groups again this year (Primary and Intermediate Grades). The Primary grades (K-2nd) will have their field events outside from9:15-11:45am.Intermediate grades (3rd-5th) will have their field events in the afternoon from 12:15-2:45pm.As always, the participation of parent volunteers is essential to the day’s success. To coincide with the grade level rotations, we have two volunteer shift times. Please sign up using the Sign up Genius Link:

6. Used Books Sale at the Spring Fair-
We are collecting gently used books to sell at the Spring Fair! Collection bins are located in the CLES lobby. Questions? Please contact Alice Haupt .
7. SPRING FAIR VOLUNTEERS: UPDATED VOLUNTEER SIGN UP-
The Spring Fair has been rescheduled for Saturday, June 4.Please review the updated volunteer sign-up below to confirm that you can still volunteer on June 4th or to make any necessary changes (or additions!). We really need your help to make the Spring Fair a success. Middle schoolers, high schoolers, grandparents, etc. - all are welcome and encouraged to volunteer. Hope to see you at the Fair!

8. School Supplies-
The PTA sponsored school supply sale is here! Skip the hassle of heading to the store and searching for school supplies and order complete 2016-2017 school year kits by grade directly from the School Toolbox onlineat www.schooltoolbox.com.Thekits ship directly to you home, are customizable so you can remove items youdon't need,and a portion of the sales benefit the PTA! 9. BOX TOPS: NEXT DRAWING ON JUNE 3rd –
We have raised over $1,000 this school year, but we aren’t done yet! Our next drawing will be held on June 3rd, three lucky winners will win a $10 Target gift card. All you have to do to enter is send in 10 unexpired Box Tops. That’s it! Send them in on the collection sheets or a plastic bag and please make sure to include a name to make sure you are entered. 10. Kindergarten Sneak Peek- June 6 & 7th:
Attention Parents of New Incoming Kindergartners: Our “Kindergarten Sneak Peek” will be held on June 6th and 7th, at 2:00 p.m. in the CLES cafeteria. Both parents and new kindergarten students are invited to attend. Parents will hear a short adult presentation while the children have a chance to visit a kindergarten classroom! Parents may come on either day, registration is not necessary. Please sign in and get a visitor’s badge in the school lobby before proceeding with your child to the cafeteria. Also, if you know of any new kindergarten students who need to register for the 2016-2017 school year please have them call the school office at 410-313-2800 to schedule an appointment.
11. CHS EAGLES LACROSSE CAMP FOR GIRLS: JUNE 20-23-
