The Community Thanksgiving Service will be held at the Dayton United Methodist Church on November 19, 2017 at 7pm. All are welcome.
Due to the Thanksgiving holiday, there will be no office
hours this week.
Please note - CHOIR PRACTICE will be Monday, Nov 20th at 7:15pm and no choir on Wed, Nov 22nd due to the Thanksgiving holiday.
Deadline for articles/information for December’s newsletter is November 21st.
It is time for ordering the poinsettias. There are forms in the Narthex. Deadline for orders is December 3rd. Cost is $7.50, and color is red.
We will be decorating the sanctuary and church on Monday, November 27th at 9:00 a.m. if you wish to come help.
The Appleby Manor Presbyterian Church will hold its annual train display. Cost of admission is a canned good for the Ford City Food bank or monetary donation to the church’s missions. The dates are November 18-25, 2017. Times are
November 18-19 and 25 2-4 PM and 6:30-8:30 PM, and November 20-24 6:30-8:30 PM
The Dayton Borough is selling Christmas Luminaries. Please call the office at 257-9826 or Dawn Enterline at 257-8126 to schedule your purchase and pickup. Cost is $1.00 per set, includes candle, votive cup, and bag. Cash only must be paid upon picking up luminaries.
The Dayton Senior Center is having their Christmas Cookie Sale again. The cookies available are Peanut Butter Blossoms, Iced Orange Cookies, Plain and Iced Sugar Cookies, Peanut Butter Melt-a-ways. The cost is $6.00 per dozen. There is a sign-up sheet in the Narthex.
Marshall House Museum Christmas Open House will be held on Saturday and Sunday, December 2nd and 3rd; from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The theme this year is, "Country Christmas”.
