Rules

· Facemasks and chinstraps required
· No jewelry allowed
· Players not allowed to sit bench two innings in a row
· Standings not kept, End of Season Tournament brackets determined by random lottery
What the Girls Need
· Glove and Uniform are the only requirements
· Obtain Uniform for team, sizes and numbers at the Meeting
· Obtain Insurance Waiver Forms, Birth Certificates, and Registration Fees at the Meeting

Who's Going to Help Me?
· CHGSA is a 100% volunteer organization
· Team needs 1 Head Coach, 2 Assistant Coaches, 1 Pitcher (6U & 8U), and 1 Team Parent to organize and communicate to team
Issue Resolution
· Team Coach should field any issues parents or players have
· Director of Coaches should be contacted to escalate if Team Coach cannot resolve issues
· CHGSA President should be contacted if Director of Coaches cannot resolve issues

CHGSA Philosophy
· This is a developmental league aimed to teach young ladies softball
· League Objectives are (1) Safety (2) Fun (3) Basic Softball Skills
· Sportsmanship - Our league is not a qualifier for the World Series, treat it as such
· Parents should not give direction to players from the stands, volunteer to coach if you want to give direction
· Parents may not challenge umpires, coaches, players or behave disrespectfully to opposing teams
· Players may not heckle other teams players or chant against other teams, cheering or chanting for your team is encouraged.
