AWARDS AND HONORS

SEED (Social Economic Environmental Design) Award, for excellence in public interest design, to the series of six design-build houses by Drachman Design-Build Coalition. This is an international award given to 4-6 projects annually, by the SEED Network, which is comprised of Structures for Inclusion, Public Interest Design Institute and Design Corps. The competition was held in November, 2015, and the award will be received at the Structures for Inclusion Conference in March, 2016.

Seed funding for Drachman Design-Build Coalition project capitalization, $55,000. Source of funding is the expendable balance from an alumnus donation to DDBC for this purpose. UA/DDBC Agreement signed by Provost in December, 2015. Funds will be leverage for additional funding for DDBC Residence 7.

limited Community Assistance Loans. Repaid with house sale 2014.

Performed all banking, accounting, construction draws, lien waivers, construction budgeting, purchases, insurance and bonding, tax form preparations and certifications for non-profit status and business license. 2004 – present.
