ACTION: Check Geos again. Environment Canada didn’t have the higher geos; LFS had geos that were too small (remove CTs and DAs)

The decision making process for Schedule B is OK

ACTION: Format product main page for printing 8 1/2x11 in landscape

ACTION: Share with leads something other than the excel file – focusing on priorities, but excluding price.

ACTION: Make the excel list of all products being considered a reference document.

CENTRACT

 What is value added in comparison to CMHC or municipal property assessment data?

 Confirm data quality at smaller geographies

 CT may not be small enough – what is the cost of the data at even smaller geos?

 Can we get a time series related to the last census year, to compare to 2006 Census

 We cannot afford it in 2012

ACTION: Push Centract to 2012 R (Review) or 2013

ACTION: Spend more time reviewing a demo product

ENVISION

 Will be purchased only for those consortia interested in the Tool for themselves and their members

 Cautionary note about using envision for custom geographies

CPB

 Start with most recent release

 Consider a Purchase for 2011: June and December

 Correct link to CPB

STC

 Include all STC products for 2012, with note that pricing and availability are unknown at this time

Census

 Include Standard tables in 2012, with note that pricing and availability are unknown at this time

Labour Force Survey

 Correct geo: remove CT and DA

 Clarify the $820 – what does this refer to/

PCCF

 Yes, especially if we are going to purchase TU data

 Hamilton and Simcoe would use it

TU

 Very interesting data product

 Feedback – it was difficult to use

 Finalize price to a lower price point

 CCSD and the working group would take the lead on using it to make it clear

 Two points in time would be preferable (confirm that’s what the order is for)

 We would also have to deal with the complexity of dealing with changing postal codes over time

 Use this product for our first annual report, including mapping

 2013 will be census-focused, so in year 1, this would be something new to work with

 An opportunity to teach members about a new data product

 Find out about price for CSD level data for 2012, then move towards 6-digit postal code data
