CBG’s 2nd Fantastical Photo Scavenger Huntapalooza

Answer Key

THE RULES:

1. Every photo must clearly depict the person/place/thing referenced in the clue, and must include every team member. Photos can be taken “selfie” style, or you can ask bystanders to take your team’s photo.

2. Obey all trail and road safety rules. Do not stop ON the trail to take a picture, move to the side. Do not risk yours or others personal safety in an effort to win this competition. Teams who do not obey safety rules may be disqualified.

3. Upload each team’s photos to the CBG meetup page, and include your team’s name and the clue number in the caption. (For example: “Team _____, Clue #4” or “Team ____, BONUS”) Please upload the photos as you take them so that Stephanie and Heather can monitor teams’ progress throughout the ride. Do not expect to arrive at the finish and then upload all the photos at once.

4. Only ONE photo per clue may be submitted. If you realize after submitting your photo that you've made a mistake, you cannot upload another photo. We will judge based on the first one you uploaded.

5. For the bonus clues, points are awarded for only one clue at a time. For example, if one bonus clue is to take a photo with someone wearing a backpack, and another bonus clue is to take a photo with someone wearing pink, you cannot submit one photo with someone wearing a backpack AND a pink shirt and collect points for that one photo for both clues. The people depicted in the bonus clues must be different people for each clue.

6. You do not have to complete every clue. The system is points based, so be strategic and work to get as many points as possible, and don't worry if you can't complete every clue. We don't expect you to!

7. All teams must return to the Shirlington Library by 12:00pm and check in with Stephanie and Heather. In the event of a tie in point totals, the first team that checked in at the finish will win the tie. Any teams that arrive later than 12:00pm will incur a 10 point penalty. Any teams that arrive later than 12:15pm are automatically disqualified.

8. Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 teams. All participants should stay and wait for everyone to return to the finish so that prizes may be awarded.
