FELLOWSHIP

Blinn Catholic Student’s Association- BCSA provides a forum for fellowship, worship, and religious education among the Catholic students and faculty of BlinnCollege and TexasA&MUniversity. Contact Sarah Hayes at .

Graduate/Young Professionals Fellowship- A dynamic group of young Catholic adults, ranging in age from 21-39 (single of married). We provide spiritual and social opportunities for graduate students and young professions who have graduated. Meetings are oriented around a bible study, then we go out to dinner as a group. There are also service projects throughout the semester. Contact Julie Lager at .

Kappa Theta Beta- a Catholic sorority dedicated to leading one another and others closer to Christ by following in the footsteps of our patron saint, Mary. Through participation in spiritual and fellowship events such as prayer partners, bible studies, retreats, a date party, and a formal, we hope to harbor wonderful friendships. Knights of Columbus- a Catholic men’s fraternity chartered in 1882 by Fr. Michael J. McGivney. We are a service oriented fraternity that also focuses on family and social events. Membership meetings are held every 1st and 3rd Wednesday at 7:30-9:30 in the Upstairs Chapel of the Church. Contact Richard Sanchez at

Pescadores- We welcome all Catholic Latin-American students searching for friends with whom to grow in faith and fellowship. We meet on Wednesdays at 7:30 p.m. in Room 208. Contact Angelica Rivero at

EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS

Aggie Catholic Apologetics Team (Aggie CAT)-Join Apologetics to learn the why of your faith. We will provide explanations for our common Christian faith and how it is celebrated in the Catholic Church. Topics include traditions, the Eucharist, confession, Mary & the saints, the Mass, Priesthood, the Trinity, sin, creation, the existence of God, and many more. Meetings are Wednesday nights at 6:15. Campus Renew- We are the newest addition to the St. Mary’s ministries. Small groups will be led by group leaders will gather together once a week to discuss faith-based topics and their relation to our daily lives. Contact Sarah Hayes at

Catholic Real Life- Are you interested in learning about the Catechism of the Catholic Church through great Christian fellowship? Real Life plans mini-retreats throughout the semester to discuss Catholicism and Spiritual renewal. Contact Kris Fuch at .

RETREATS

Aggie Awakening- A three-day retreat program based loosely on the Cursillo movement and Search program. The retreat is held three times per year, once per semester. Fourth day meetings are held every Thursday following the 5:30 Daily Mass in the ActivityCenterfor all who have made the retreat .

Senior Retreat- A retreat for all students that will be graduating from Texas A&M, Blinn, or another University during the calendar year. The mission is to discuss the fears and anxieties of graduating seniors as they leave the college parish atmosphere of St. Mary’s and college life to move into a full time job and a family oriented parish away from College Station. The goal is to have the students take inventory of their gifts and talents and how to direct them towards becoming active members of their future parish; to keep them on their spiritual faith walk and move closer to Christ.

St. Mary’s Youth Retreat Team (SMYRT)- an organization that plans and staffs retreats for high school and middle school youth throughout the area. Meetings and workshops are dedicated to building fellowship and developing skills in retreat and youth ministry. Meetings are every Monday night from 8:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. in the ActivityCenter. Welcome Weekend- a retreat for all incoming freshman and transfer students for Texas A&M and Blinn students. It is held the weekend before classes start in the Fall at St. Mary’s.

PRAISE AND WORSHIP

The Rock- We are a group of Aggie Catholics who do praise and worship every Monday from 9:00 p.m.– 10:00 p.m. at St. Mary’s. Singing = Praying x 2, so if you want to pray twice come for an hour of fellowship and fun.
