Inventory for Equipment Purchased through Categorical Programs (BUL 3508.5)-
Equipment (over $500) purchased with federal or state categorical funds must be inventoried and correctly labeled (red label). Please submit the following to Federal and State Education Programs Branch, Beaudry Bldg., 16th Floor, Attn: Alice Turner and/or to :
  • Categorical Equipment Inventory (Attachment B) or Principal Certification letter (Attachment D)
AND
  • Categorical Equipment Inventory Physical Check (Attachment E), if it was not submitted in 2012-2013 school year.

Documentation for Employees Paid from Federal and State Categorical Programs:Federal and State regulations require supporting documentation, in addition to time cards, for all personnel who receive any payment (compensation) from federal funds or from state categorical funds. This supporting documentation will vary depending upon the funding source(s) or nature of the job duties. Payroll time reporting must reflect actual hours worked on each program as indicated in the supporting documentation.
  1. Review time-reporting Bulletin with categorically funded staff (Multi-funded Time Reporting Log ,Semi-Annual Certification and Training/Occasional Assignment Forms).
  2. Ensure accuracy of personnel roster information for Title 1.
