LETTER OF AGREEMENT
Description of Services
As a Destination Wedding consultant my role includes:
Assist in choice of destination. Cover up to 3 locations that meet or exceed the expectations of the wedding couple and their wedding package inclusions
Negotiate supplier group contract or group code to include discounts for all guest reservations where the number of required room nights meets or exceeds minimum requirements as determined by the resort policies.
Create a dedicated 4 page micro-site for the couple’s destination wedding if desired. Three pages include 1) You’re Invited, 2) Resort, 3) Travel Cost Info and 4) Registration. Oneedit of “You’re Invited” page is included. All copy content for “You’re Invited” page to be provided by couple. Delivery of website to Bride and Groom 7 days after wedding date is booked with resort.
Secure wedding date, general location within the resort, and provide legal destination marriage requirements. It is, however, the responsibility of the bride/groom to complete all paperwork and provide payment means in a timely manner.
Arrange all travel plans for guests attending including round-trip air, hotel accommodations, transfer to and from airport/hotel, travel insurance, pre-planned destination tours.
Coordinate honeymoon plans for the bride and groom
Castaway Travel of the Carolinas is a travel agency and not the actual wedding coordinator. Our responsibilities are related strictly to the facilitation of travel, acquisition of accommodations and securement of an event venue for the bride and groom and any guests of the wedding event. I will facilitate the initial communication between the bride and the wedding coordinator who will assist with ceremony details such as colors, cake flavors, etc at the appropriate time.
Castaway Travel of the Carolinas will make every reasonable effort to communicate with the bride and groom provided phone numbers, mailing addresses and electronic communication means are kept current. It is the responsibility of the bride/groom to inform Castaway Travel of the Carolinas of any changes as soon as possible.
Fees & Payment Schedule
In order to perform the professional services required to plan and arrange your destination wedding, a deposit of $250 is required. This deposit is due at the time of agreement and will be applied to your final payment to the resort provided all contract requirements are met. In the unfortunate event that plans are cancelled or the itinerary is not fulfilled for any reason, the deposit will be retained by Castaway Travel of the Carolinas.
Travel planning involves time. Our research is based on years of personal experience and professional expertise. The preferred companies that we work with have been selected based on their ability to meet your specific event needs as designated by you. Your final itinerary will provide an event that should meet and/or exceed your expectations.

I understand the Plan To Go Deposit is non-refundable for any reason. By signing below, I give authorization for Castway Travel of the Carolinas to charge my card $250.00 for the deposit which will be applied to the final payment for travel arrangements or retained by the company as presented in this agreement.

Changes/Cancellations
This service agreement only applies to destination wedding planning provided by Castaway Travel of the Carolinas. This agreement does not represent resort, airlines and other wedding vendor services. Any resort, airline or vendor penalties incurred by the bride/groom as a result of cancellation are the sole responsibility of the bride/groom as presented in subsequent contracts.
Please note that all service provided by Castaway Travel of the Carolinas has been suspended until a copy of this agreement has reached our office. We will notify you upon receipt of this agreement.
