Club Members Championship 2016
All current members are automatically entered into the championship
Points will be awarded for the following
Working on the day of the event 15 points
Assisting to set up event on the day prior to event 20 points
Marshals Training Day 20 points
Attending Monthly Club Meetings 10 points
Awards for 1st Overall 2nd Overall 3rd Overall
The following are the events which count for championship points.
Autotest 16/17 January
Wm LoughmanForest Rally 14th February
Autocross 5/6 June
Raven’sRock Rally 26th June
Rallysprint 8th November
Plus
Any 5 Events covered by The Five Counties Marshals Club, from the following list Carlow Rally, Hearthland Stages Rally, Imokilly Rally, Stonethrowers Rally,
Wexford Rally (sat) Wexford Rally (sun) Garda Rally
Each event qualifying for 20 points
Working on any one of the following events on both days will qualify for 30 points.
West Cork Rally, Cork 20 or Fastnet Rally,( only 1 of the 3 can be counted).
Any club member acting as an M.I. appointed official will not be eligible to score points on that event.
The onus is on each member to inform the registrar of any errors in points awarded
The Official Sign ON Sheet for each event will decide the awarding of points for each event. Two Day Events points will we awarded for each day
The meeting attendance book will decide the awarding of points for meetings
Competitors competing in the club events will be eligible to score points in the championship based on the class entered on each event.
Points will be awarded on a class basis only and not on Overall positions on each event
1st = 20 points
2nd = 18 points
3rd = 16 points
4th = 14 points
5th = 13 points
6th = 12 points
Competitors who fail to finish an event will be awarded 5 points
Competitors who retire from an event and then sign on to marshal will be awarded 20 points subject to confirmation of the Official Sign on Sheet
In the event of any tie in the finishers list precedence will be given to the member having worked on the greatest number of events. If this fails to resolve the tie then precedence will given tothe member who assisted with setting up the greatest number of events. If this fails to resolve the tie then precedence will be given to the member who has attended the greatest number of club meetings. If the tie remains unresolved the tie will be resolved by drawing names of the members concerned from a hat.
If through force majeure any of the club event dates are altered then the new date will carry the same status as the event it replaces.
If for any reason a club event is cancelled then the counting rounds will be reduced by the number of events cancelled
Awards
1st Place A 2 night with 2 evening meals hotel break for 2 plus €500
2nd Place A 2 night with 1 evening meal hotel break for 2 plus€300
3rd Place A 2 night hotel break for 2 plus €200
Additionally the remaining 15 highest scoring members will receive €100
