*** Note, All racing terriers, including puppiesmust be muzzled.*** Only closed end muzzles are allowed. No Mikki or figure eight muzzles***

CJRTC is going green. If you have submitted your trial certificates to the trial secretary in the past two years, they will be on file and you will not need to submit them again. New trial certificates should be submitted with your entries. Please also note that go-to-ground papers for certificate classes are not included in your trial packet. They are not needed to send in for certificate purposes. Only papers will be included for Novice and Open Go-to-Ground participates.

All puppies must be current on their vaccinations and nopuppies under 3 months of age will be allowed at the trial. No Exceptions. No puppy sales at trial site. No puppies under 3 months of age in RV’s. If you have young puppies, please bring a Stud Certificate to verify age. This will be strictly enforced. You will be asked to leave and no refunds will be given.

Limited food service will be available at the park. There are many fast food restaurants nearby.

Camping, Etc.

Water and restroom facilities are available on site. Limited camping is also available.Camper hookupshave 50 amp service so be prepared with adaptors. Shorty Performance

Scores from racing flats, racing hurdles and go-to-ground will be added together. 1st - 5 points, 2nd - 3 points, 3rd - 2 points and 4th - 1 point. Go little guys and girls!!!

All Go-To-Ground Participants, Please Read!

Due to excessive waits for people participating in GTG with one terrier, we are implementing a new procedure. If you choose to bring all of your terriers to GTG at one time, you may run one terrier and while you are getting your next terrier ready to go, you must let the next person in line run theirs.

Every effort will be made to start trial events on time. Dogs late to racing or conformation will be scratched. NO REFUNDS for missed classes.

REFUNDS for classes will be given ONLY in cases of accident or illness of a terrier or owner, or for bitches in season. Situations must be documented in writing. Refunds provided by mail within 14 days following the trial.

ALL entries the day of the trial, except when a terrier moves up in Go-to-Ground, will be considered Post Entries and will be charged the post entry fee. No additions or substitutions after a division havebegun.

***Please Note: To be eligible to run in theChampionship race, the terrier MUST have entered and RUN in both the flat and steeplechase classes. A terrier that is not entered in both classes or has not run in both classes is not eligible to run in the championship race. In this case, the second place terrier becomes eligible to run in the Championship race, assuming it was entered and ran in both classes. All Racing Terriers including puppies must be muzzled. 4-6 Month old puppies will run flat races and return immediately for hurdles!!! Veteran and Senior classes will be split by sex if entries are sufficient.

Class49Pre-Novice Puppy: Open to Jack Russell puppies 4 up to 6 months. Entry in Pre-Novice Puppy class does not affect the puppy's eligibility to enter the Novice Class after 6 months of age. (One minute to reach quarry; may leave earth and re-enter until quarry is reached; mark quarry for 15 seconds without a break in work and without leaving quarry.

Class 50Novice Puppy: Open to Jack Russells 6 up to 12 months which have not scored 100% in this class at a previous JRTCA trial. Entries earning a score of 100% at this trial may, upon payment of the entry fee, enter the Open Puppy Class at this trial. (One minute to reach quarry; may leave earth and re-enter several times until quarry is reached; when quarry is reached must work quarry continuously for a full 30 seconds without a break in work and without leaving the quarry; may switch from one type of work to another (examples: baying to concentrated stare or digging to baying.)

Class 51 Novice Adult: Open to Jack Russells one year of age or older which have not scored 100% in this class at a previous JRTCA trial. Entries earning a score of 100% at this trial may, upon payment of the entry fee, enter the Open class at this trial. (One minute to reach quarry; may leave earth and re-enter several times until quarry is reached; must work quarry continuously for a full 30 seconds without a break in work and without leaving the quarry; may switch from one type of work to another (examples baying to concentrated stare or digging to baying.)

Class 52Open Puppy: Open to Jack Russells 6 up to 12 months which have scored 100% in a Novice Go-To-Ground class at this or a previous JRTCA trial. Not open to any puppies which have previously achieved 100% in this class. Puppies earning a score of 100% at this trial may, upon payment of the entry fee, enter the Puppy Championship GTG class at this trial. (30 seconds to reach quarry; may leave earth once and re-enter before quarry is reached; must work quarry continuously for one full minute without a break in work and without leaving quarry; may switch from one type of work to another.)

Class 53Open Adult: Open to Jack Russells one year or older which have scored 100% in a Novice Go-To-Ground class at this or a previous JRTCA trial.(30 seconds to reach quarry; may leave earth once and re-enter before the quarry is reached; must work quarry continuously for one full minute without a break in work and without leaving quarry; may switch from one type of work to another.)

Class 54 Open Adult Under 10”(Non- sanctioned): Open to JR’s one year of age and older under 10”. Class will be run in the

Open Tunnel. (30 seconds to reach quarry; may leave earth once and re-enter before the quarry is reached; must workquarry continuously for one full minute without a break in work and without leaving quarry; may switch from one type of work to another.

Class 55 Puppies other than Jack Russell’s (Non- Sanctioned):(One minute to reach quarry; may leave earth and re-enter until

quarry is reached; mark quarry for 15 seconds without a break in work and without leaving quarry.) To be run in the Novice Tunnel.

Class 56 Adults other than Jack Russell’s (Non-Sanctioned): (One minute to reach quarry; may leave earth and re-enter several times until quarry is reached; must work quarry continuously for a full 30 seconds without a break in work and without leaving the quarry; may switch from one type of work to another (examples baying to concentrated stare or digging to baying.) To be run in theOpen Tunnel.

Class 57Puppy Championship: Open to Jack Russells, 6 up to 12 months which have earned 100% in an Open Go-To-Ground class at this or a previous JRTCA trial. A copy of a 100% Open score sheet shall be submitted with pre-entry or be shown to the Den Steward at the time of the class. First and second place winners will be Puppy Go-To-Ground Champion and Reserve.(30 seconds to reach quarry; may leave earth once and re-enter before the quarry is reached; when quarry is reached must work quarry for one full minute without a break in work and without leaving quarry; may switch from one type of work to another.)

Class 5810 up to 12½" Championship Certificate:Open to any adult Jack Russell 10 up to 12½", one year and over, which holds a JRTCA Trial Certificate. A copy of the certificate must be submitted with pre-entry or be shown to the Den Steward at the time of the class. First and second place winners will be Go-To-Ground Champion and Reserve. (30 seconds to reach quarry; may not leave earth; work quarry for one full minute without a break in work and without leaving quarry.)

Class 59Over 12½ up to 15" Championship Certificate: Open to any adult Jack Russell over 12½ up to 15”, one year and over, which holds a JRTCA Trial Certificate. A copy of the certificate must be submitted with pre-entry or be shown to the Den Steward at the time of the class. First and second place winners will be Go-To-Ground Champion and Reserve. (30 seconds to reach quarry; may not leave earth; work quarry for one full minute without a break in work and without leaving quarry.)

Class 6010” up to 12 ½” Veteran Certificate:Open to any adult Jack Russell 6 years of age or older, who holds a JRTCA Trial Certificate. CROSS-ENTERING IS NOT PERMITTED BETWEEN CERTIFICATE CLASSES. Class 61 Over 12 ½” up to 15”Veteran Certificate:Open to any adult Jack Russell 6 years of age or older, who holds a JRTCA Trial Certificate. CROSS-ENTERING IS NOT PERMITTED BETWEEN CERTIFICATE CLASSES. (30 seconds to reach quarry; may not leave earth; work quarry for one full minute without a break in work and without leaving quarry.)

Class 6210” up to 12 ½” Senior Certificate:Open to any adult Jack Russell 9 years of age or older, who holds a JRTCA Trial Certificate. CROSS-ENTERING IS NOT PERMITTED BETWEEN CERTIFICATE CLASSES. (30 seconds to reach quarry; may not leave earth; work quarry for one full minute without a break in work and without leaving quarry.)

Class 63 Over 12 ½” up to 15” Senior Certificate:Open to any adult Jack Russell 6 years of age or older, who holds a JRTCA Trial Certificate. CROSS-ENTERING IS NOT PERMITTED BETWEEN CERTIFICATE CLASSES. (30 seconds to reach quarry; may not leave earth; work quarry for one full minute without a break in work and without leaving quarry.)

Section C- Youth

Class 64Child Handler: Open to any youth aged 5 through 9, handling a JRT 6 months of age or older. This class is offered as an

introductory experience in handling and learning about the Jack Russell Terrier. Judged on the child’s ability to

present his/her dog and beginning knowledge of the Jack Russell. Quality of the dog NOT to be considered. (No entry fee if

pre-entered)

Class 65 Youth Handler: Open to any youth aged 10 through 16, handling a JRT. Judged on the youth’s beginning knowledge of

the Jack Russell and ability to present his/her dog. Quality of dog NOT to be considered.(No entry fee if pre entered)

Class 66 Child Handler G-T-G: (non-sanctioned) Open to any child aged 5 through 9, handling a JRT 6 months of age or older.

Judged on the child’s ability to present his/her dog and knowledge of Go-to-Ground. To be run through the 10 foot Novice

liner; time not to be considered.(No entry fee if pre-entered)

Class 67 Youth G-T-G:Open to any youth aged 10 through 16, handling a Jack Russell Terrier. Judged on the youth’s ability to

present his/her dog and knowledge of Go-To-Ground. To be run through the 10 foot Novice liner; time not to be

considered. (No entry fee if pre-entered)

Class 68 Child Handler High Score and Reserve:Awarded to the highest scoring child and runner –up in classes 64 and 66. Points
