Findings from IMM question #5:

  • Formative Assessments
  • RTI training
  • TBTs
  • Similarities/Differences training
  • Secondary literacy plan
  • Need to improve collaboration on intervention strategies (RTI/TBT training will address this)
  • Need pd on how to analyze and use short cycle data (RTI/TBT training will address this)
  • Need pd and increased implementation of reading comprehension strategies
  • Parents may not be involved in creation of crisis management plan in each building
  • Teachers may not be involved in creation of crisis management plan in each building
  • DLT is only able to monitor 4 adult implementation points
  • Feedback and learning targets measured using walkthroughs both had significant increase
  • Mental Health professionals are employed and service at each building

Small groups reviewed and revised the BLT checklist for Adult Implementation and Student Performance Indicators

 Lunch

Individuals completed the OLAC Leadership Development Framework (evaluation of DLT) and compared the current results to the fall results. Building Leadership Team results mirrored the district’s growth results.

Team reviewed and discussed Building Leadership Team Roles and Responsibilities document.

Small groups reviewed 2011-2012 Building Improvement Plans

A plan for rotation of DLT members was discussed- possible rotation schedule to assure a good representation of personnel across the district.

-T he cons of rotation schedule: lack of continuity, difficulty of bringing new members up to speed in a four year process,

-Discussed whether or not to implement a rotation schedule vs. the natural attrition that occurs over time. Voted and decided to let attrition run its course and make sure the vacancies are filled by individuals who represent groups in the same manner.

RTI update: Reading academy will occur for secondary, will discuss their RTI meeting schedule at primary level.

TBTs are being implemented at the secondary level, discussed results of Survey Monkey results. Got 18 responses.

Evaluation: Quality Quads will be discussed at the first DLT meeting next year.
