LiveCareer. This is a free career interest test that provides a basic interest profile, work styles, highest and lowest career interests, an administrative score, personality, “work place fit,” values, knowledge, skills and abilities, and a career plan (“Where do you go from here.”):

Jackson Vocational Interest Survey (JVIS). This assessment claims to help you discover college major and rewarding careers that match you interests. Inventory is available online. Cost is $19.95.

Quintessential Careers. Provides descriptions for and links to various career self-assessments. Personality, interests, and values assessments are included.

The Riley Guide. This site provides information on various career and career-related assessment areas and instruments. This site is useful for education professionals and some students.
