Experience
Originally from the San Juan Islands of Washington State, I have averaged over 20,000 nautical miles per year worldwide commanding private and commercial vessels from 40 - 130 feet in length. I have crossed both oceans, transited the Panama Canal 12 times, delivered vessels to the Great Lakes 29 times, Florida to New England 196 times, cruised the Bahamas /Caribbean for 25 years and have logged nearly 300,000 sea miles in 38+ years of sea service (see Waters Worked section). Having a formal marine engineering background, preventative maintenance schedules are strictly followed. Recommended by leading yacht brokerage and marine risk underwriters. STCW 95 compliant.
Holding an Airline Transport Pilot rating, I have performed domestic and international flight operations in Citation 550 Gulfstream G200, Hawker 400/700/800, Learjet 24, 25, 31, 35, 36 .
