Introduction
Nambiar Associates (Certified Public Accountants) is one of the Rwanda’s leading professional services firms who provide audit, tax, enterprise risk services, financial advisory and consulting to a wide range of local and multinational clients.
Nambiar Associates was registered in 2003 as a firm of Chartered Accountants in Public Practice and registered in ICPAR when it formed in 2009. The firm is registered with all regulatory authorities relevant to its line of work. The firm has since grown to acquire a respectable niche in the market place.
The firm is presently under evaluation by an international firm to join hand with them and expected to be part of the International Accounting Firm in the near future.
The firm was established in 2003 and it has become one of the leading professional service firms in Rwanda (East Africa). The firm is providing services to over 150 clients including both multinational and local companies. The firm has significant presence across manufacturing, services, commercial, financial and public sector entities in the country.
The firm has a workforce of more than 30 peoples. Our staffs include more than eight qualified professional accountants, financial expert and other technically qualified persons.
We are registered with Rwanda Development Corporation (RDC No: RC 8298). We are also registered with Rwanda Revenue Authority (TIN and VAT: 101780461)

Rwanda has witnessed tremendous change in Industrial policy with liberalisation of economy. With this, competition has also increased calling for cost control and timely management decision for achieving set targets, proper feasibility study, reliable Financial Information, Internal Audit, Cost control, and monitoring optimum Human Resources, proper financing for Capital Investment and working capital are identified as the key areas to the success of any enterprise.

WORK METHODOLOGY
· All work is carried out in accordance with International Accounting and Auditing Standards. In addition to this, all work complies with the quality standards set out by our quality assurance procedures.
· All engagements are planned thoroughly at the outset with the proper input of all engagement personal starting from the Partner level, including Managers and all field staff.
· All work carried out by field staff is thoroughly reviewed at Managerial level and thereafter at Partner level, and all reports are signed only by Partners. No other staff member is authorized to act as signatory to any report or document expressing an opinion on any matter.
· All tax consultancy engagements are handled at Partner level with merely the compliance issues being delegated to managerial and support staff.

Nambiar Associates has a managing team of highly professional and qualified partners and more than 25 professional trainees and staff, fostering extensive professional knowledge. The blend of Qualifications that our team holds ranges from Chartered Accountancy; Internal Audit, IS Audit (CISA), and Chartered Accountancy (ACCA, ICAI and ICPAR). The partners of this firm:

N.R. Raghavan Nambiar, FCA, CPA(R), CPA (K).
He is the founder and managing partner in Nambiar Associates. He has possessed more than three decade of admirable experiences in financial and advisory services, specializing in Management Consultancy, Corporate secretarial services, and Tax Consultancy. He has been residing in Rwanda for the last fifteen years and well versed in Rwandan commercial, Labour and Tax laws.
He earned Master degree of Commerce from University of Kerala (India) and also Bachelor Degree of commerce from the same University. He is a member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) since 1986 and become a Fellow member of ICAI in 1992. He is also a Founder member of The Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Rwanda (ICAPR).
He has been a Chartered Accountant in public practice since 1982 in India and thereafter in Rwanda since 2002. He has gained thirteen years experiences in India and twelveyears’ experience in Rwanda as practicing CA.
He possesses rich experiences of management level or second management level. He has four years’ experience in Construction and Real Estate Company as Chief executive. He earned four years experiences as a member of the Board of directors in a Plantation Company and fiveyears’ experience in manufacturing industry in which three years as General Manager and two years as Director Finance and administration.
Sasikumar R. Nambiar, FCA, CPA(T), CPA(R)
He is a Fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Tanzania (ICPAT). He is a member of ICAI since 1984.
He possessed Bachelor Degree in Economics from University of Kerala (India).
He earned 10 years of experience with international audit and consulting firm Horwath Tanzania and Grant Thornton Tanzania as Audit Principal.
He holds IFRS Diploma at Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), UK.
Vishnu Maya R. Nambiar, ACCA (UK), CPA(R), CPA (K)
She is an Audit partner in Nambiar Associates since 2005. She has qualified ACCA at the age of 21 and passed all papers in the first attempt. She earned position fourth world wide in one paper and thirteenth in another paper. She was first in most of the papers in Rwanda and was first in East Africa in four papers.
She is a founder and also youngest member of The Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Rwanda (ICPAR). She has been working with Nambiar Associates for the last Seven years in different capacities and gained a rich experience in Assurance and Audit, Financial Services, Tax advisory Services, Accounting, Budgeting, Fund Management, Statutory Compliance/liaison, feasibility studies of various projects.
She is eligible person for B.Sc. (Hons) in Accounting from Oxford Brookes.
C. B. Keshav, ACA, CS, CPA(R)
He possessed Bachelor Degree in Commerce from Jai Prakash University, Bihar (India). He is an Associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). He gained chartered accountancy status at the age of 21 and passed all papers in the first attempt. He has also earned Company Secretarial-ship degree from the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) and scored All India 20th Rank in the exam.
He is one of the youngest members of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Rwanda (ICPAR).
He is currently pursuing to ACCA (UK) and CIA (USA). He is in the final level of ACCA study.
He has gained more than five years of post and pre-qualification highly professional experiences in Auditing, Management Consultancy, Accounting, IFRS Reporting and Financial and Operations Management.
CA SUNNYKUMAR MATETI, MBA, ACA, CPA(R)
He holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration. He is an Associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI).
He is also a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Rwanda (ICPAR).
He has six years rich experience in Auditing and Assurance, Securities Market, Forex Transactions, Investment Advisory Services.
SHEREENA WILSON P, B.Tech Engineer (CS)
She is a B.Tech Engineer (Computer Science). She has five years of hands-on experience in leading a team of developers to analyse and custom develop solutions that help companies streamline their operations.
She was worked with NT Global, System and Solution as Project Coordinator from March 2006 to May 2009.
She is associated with Nambiar Associates since August 2009 as IT and Technical Advisor. She is also pursuing to ACCA (UK).
