Dear <Candidate's Name>:

We are pleased that you have accepted our invitation to interview in the Department of <name> at IllinoisStateUniversity. It is the policy of IllinoisStateUniversity to provide reasonable accommodations for qualified persons with disabilities who are employees or applicants for employment. If you need assistance or accommodations to fully participate in the interview process, please contact [name, phone number (TTY if available) of person arranging interview]. Employment opportunities will not be denied to anyone because of the need to make reasonable accommodations for a person's disability.

Reimbursement for your expenses can be made to you for the following items:

1.Travel costs - your airline flight will be arranged by IllinoisStateUniversity. Automobile mileage (32.5 cents per mile for total round-trip), parking, and tolls are also reimbursable. Each cost (except mileage) will require a receipt or an affidavit.

2.Lodging costs - overnight reservations have been made for you at a local hotel. You may pay for your night's stay and we will reimburse you, or you may sign out and the hotel will bill the University. You need to be aware that the University cannot pay for any phone calls, movies, liquor, or children and spouse expenses. The hotel has been notified of this and you will be required to pay these expenses at checkout time.

3.Meal expenses - you may charge meals (for yourself only) to your hotel room. It is possible that someone will take you out for a meal. This cost will be reimbursed directly to your host.

4.To satisfy State regulations, you will be asked to sign an Invoice-Voucher and provide your social security number while you are on campus. You will then be reimbursed for any expenses incurred through this voucher. The entire process for reimbursement may take two to four weeks (approximate time for you to expect to receive your reimbursement check). Heavy recruitment periods, omissions or errors in the paperwork may add time to the process. Feel free to ask questions during your visit.

It is the policy of IllinoisStateUniversity to be in compliance with the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986. It will be necessary that you furnish documentation no later than three days of starting work to establish both your employment authorization and identity. All employment is contingent upon a review and verification of such documents.

We hope you will find the enclosed Bloomington/Normal area map useful and that you enjoy your visit to IllinoisStateUniversity and our community. Thank you in advance for your cooperation with this process.

Sincerely,
