v  The website should target someone who has taken at least one high school biology class and might be interested because they or a loved one is dealing with cancer.

Two good resources:

v  www.cancer.gov (go to: quick links, then Dictionary of Cancer Terms) for a dictionary of cancer terms. This site also has loads of information regarding incidence statistics, types of cancer, prevention, causes, clinical trials, etc.

Ø  Treatments

Ø  What hope is there for people diagnosed with this cancer? Current research

v  A conclusion

Ø  What risk factors could your famous person have met in their lifetime? Find specific examples.

Ø  What types of treatments did they try?

Ø  Has this individual created any organizations to help research new cures for the cancer?

v  Also to include:

Ø  Digital elements such as links, video, animation, sound.

Ø  Citations are mandatory for ALL content, even images (see fair use guidelines)
