Scholarship Program
Campesinos Unidos’ “Families from the Fields” Scholarship Program announces scholarships to be awarded during the spring of 2010.
There will be scholarships in the amount of $2,500. Additional $1,000 scholarships will also be awarded during the spring of 2010. These scholarships are made available from funds provided to Campesinos Unidos by the Lynd Hoover Scholarship Endowment.
These scholarships will be awarded to either a high school senior who is college bound or to a college student.
Idaho and Eastern Oregon residents who are or have been farm workers and who will be a college student during the 2010-2011 school year may apply. Note: Farm work must have been performed within the last 5 years. Application form (on reverse side) and responses to the following six (6) questions must be received or postmarked by Friday, April 16, 2010

3. For whom (employer/company) did you perform this field work?
4. Describe the type of work you did.
5. What are your educational goals?
6. How do you now, or how will you in the future, serve the farm worker community? NOTE: This question may be answered in English or Spanish.
The questions must be answered in typewritten form. Please limit your responses to 2 pages total.
