Caithness Pony Club Annual Senior Camp

Monday (6pm) to Thursday (4pm)

Camp will be held at Dale Farm, Spittal from Monday4th July - Thursday 7th July 2016.

Members aged 11 and over (as of 1st January in the current year) are invited to our senior summer camp. This will be a residential camp and members will be expected to look after their ponies/horses for the duration of the camp. The older members will help younger members as necessary.

Ponies/horses will be stabled on site and lorries/caravans will provide accommodation for members.

We are limited to the number of members taking part. Spaces will be allocated on receipt of payment.

Camp costs: £150per member including all meals and stabling on straw.

Hay and hard feed should be brought to camp for individual use.

(Hay may be available at a small extra charge)

Please book your place as soon as possible so that the committee can make necessary arrangements. The total cost will be £150 and cheques should be made payable to Caithness Pony Club.

£40 will be deemed to be a non-refundable deposit which will ensure your place. The balance of £110 should also be enclosed. Cheques will not be cashed until camp week. Please contact Linda Ramsøy if you have any queries.

Parental help will be required at camp. Please indicate on the booking form what shifts you can do.

Please note that in the interest of safety, members (under 18) will only be allowed to leave camp with their parent or guardian and must return by 10 pm.

Please let us know when you are available to help. Each child’s parent/guardian will be required for 2-3 time-slots to provide adequate supervision during camp. We will try to accommodate you at suitable times but ask you to swap time-slots among yourselves if necessary. An overview of time-slots will be emailed out to the allocated helper and will be available to view on Sunday evening.
