  2. This form will be used by Range Control to deconflict training schedules with other units IOT reserve ranges that meet your unit’s training objectives,T&R standards, and timeline. Providing more detailed information allows Range Control to meet intent for training when deconflicting schedules.

Additional Guidance:

  1. Logistical requirements need to be coordinated throughS-4 CATC Camp Fuji.S-4 DSN:(315) 224-8306.
  1. Medical support is the responsibility of the using unit and is required on all live fire ranges. Combat Life Savers are not considered sufficient medical support.
  1. A Medical Officer, IDC, Nurse Practitioner, or medical equivalent is required for all training units billeted aboard Camp Fuji.Alternative support may be approved if coordinated with BAS. BAS DSN: (315) 224-8381.
  1. RSO/OICs must have Command Authorization, MarineNet Range Safety Certificates, and pass the CATC RSO test upon arrival. Using units are required to appoint an RSO and OIC when they confirm ranges.
  1. If you anticipate submitting deviations for training that is not allowed by the CATC Camp Fuji Range Regulations, please contact our office to begin the process ASAP.
  1. All sensitive-fused munitions require CATC EOD and Japanese observers coordinated well in advance. Ensure that the DODICs listed under A. Live Fire reflect your unit’s intent to fire sensitive-fused munitions on the ranges.
  1. Units are required to provide targets. Coordination must be made with CATC EOD 3 days prior to training for insertion, extraction, and targetry restrictions. EOD DSN: (315) 224-8336.
  1. Mandatory cease fire times for EFMA: 1200-1300 / 1600-1800 / 2200-0700 and for NFMA: 2100-0700,Saturday 1300-0700 for artillery, 1700-0700 for small arms.
  1. Range allocations will be published by Range Control via Range Message.
  1. After receiving range allocations, you will need to submit a Range Confirmation Form IOT secure thelive fire and maneuver ranges you intend to utilize. Range Confirmations are due NLT 3 weeks prior to training.
