Job Purpose: Front of house receptionist to ensure our visitors first and last impressions of Cambrian Printers are handled smoothly and professionally. Additional responsibilities will include the administration support of our Digital Print Department that will involve order processing and a level of cash management, handling incoming / outgoing post and a level of data entry into the company MIS.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

TheReceptionist will be accountable to the Commercial Director and will be responsible for:
  • Meeting and greeting clients and suppliers
  • Receiving and screening incoming calls
  • Administrative support to SPRINT, the digital printing element of Cambrian Printers which will include booking in orders, liaising with customers while jobs are in progress and arranging collection when jobs are complete.
  • Handling and consolidation of cash sales
  • Production of daily logs of transactions and balancing transactions at the end of each day to report to Finance department
  • Data entry of information into the Management Information System (Shuttleworth).

Person Specification:

Essential / Desirable
Education, experience and achievements / Literacy, numeracy and communication skills / Welsh language speaking skills.
Skills and Knowledge / Good understanding of MS Office, particularly Word, Excel, Outlook.
Understanding and use of database
Able to communicate via verbal and written media. / Specialised knowledge of sales environment in the printing industry.
Print MIS knowledge
Personal attributes / Professional approach and ability to interact with customers and suppliers at all levels
Can do attitude when presented with difficult client issues
Highly motivated
Good attention to detail / Focussed on high quality presentation with a will to progress and succeed
Good analytical skills
Other / Computer literacy in Windows including proficient use of the internet / Social Media skills
