PRESIDENT’S REPORT: (Dennis Rombough)

Dennisspokeaboutthe wonderful thingsinplacewiththe GKMA. Dennis hadsomesignsmadeforWhispering Pines tohelpwithexcessspeedingalongWestsideRoad.

LAND-USE: (Kent Antoniak)

KentpresentedtheNationalTrailsCoalitionAgreementforthe GKMA trailsunderthestewardshipofDuffyLake. DennisRomboughsignedtheagreementonbehalfofthe GKMA.

MX REPORT: (Willie Watchel)

The Nationals went well last weekend. Sean Evanishen suggested no parking signs along the bank so that the water truck could safely get through.

TRAIL MAINTENANCE: (PeterProchotsky)

Lastmonth 66 volunteerhourswere documented fortrailmaintenance. Peterpurchased 1 morechainsawfortrailclearingpurposes. VicBeisel suggested posting planned trail clearing events on the GKMA Facebook page.

PROMOTIONS: (VicBeisel)

Vichasafewmoresponsorsonboard.

MEMBERSHIPS: (Delphine Rombough)

Tracksaleshavereallypickedup.

COMMUNICATIONS: (Andrew Hill)

Andrewreceivedanemailfrom TRU aboutpostingourclubinformationattheuniversity. Theconsensuswasthatitwouldnotbeabenefittotheclub, soAndrew will decline on behalf of the GKMA.

TRACK RELOCATION PROJECT: (Jari Heinonen)

Jari is still working on options for relocation, but does not have anything concrete. He did have a question regarding liability for minors riding on the track. We would need legal advice regarding this.

OLD BUSINESS:

StuartPattonasked if anyone would be interested in takingoverthesoundsystemquest. WillieWatchelhasaquotefromLongand McQuade forasystem. HewillgetaquotefromLee’sMusic, aswell.

NEW BUSINESS:

Dan Mackenzie wonthedoorprizeofScottShoptowels.

VicBeisel made a motion to adjourn, 2nd by Kent Antoniak, motion carried. Meeting adjourned @ 8:10am.
