Advisor Report
- We will be meeting with the accreditation committee next week, they are meeting with us from 3-4:00 PM on Monday on the fifth floor of Tioga
- What are our core themes? Access and innovation, sustainability, learning and achievement, and community engagement. We need to know all of the core themes
- How does Student Government relate to those core themes? Volunteer Services Director works with involving the community, we reached out to the county commissioner candidates to speak at SWOCC, etc…
- We can talk about working on the By-Laws, Clubs Handbook, and keeping track of activities and events
- Also talk about your experiences in the classroom
- Graduation quotes will be sent out to all of you so we can put it to a vote of which is the one we want to put on the diplomas
- We will need ushers for graduation, let me know if you are interested or know people that might be interested
- I’m working with Sophie in housing to do a Take Back the Night event this month
- Dallas has given me a discount on doing the music for the event, since he is a DJ this is a really good deal
Executive Reports
President
- We have the Day of Caring on April 28th and it goes from 9:00-1:00, we are meeting behind Coos Bay Toyota
- We had Bingo on Friday night and it went well
- Just finished a selection for the distinguished alumni
- Earth Day; Green Fest, is on this Wednesday from 11-2 in the lobby of Empire
- Campus clean up is on Thursday and we are meeting in the lobby of Empire
- Monday is when we are showing the video in the PAC
Vice-President
- I am running for Vice President next year, so please vote for me
- The election handbook should be in your inbox, which will need to be voted on by student government
- The OCCSA meeting was good, we had a workshop about how to get students to vote
- We are supposed to have a table open for voter registration the first week of each term, we will try to have a table open this week or next week
- None of the candidates that are running for next year can use any ASG materials for campaigning
- We need to get more information out about student government and that we need students to get involved and run for ASG positions
- We had our evaluation of Amber, the OCCSA advisor, so we can give our opinion of her work and salary, we are talking about bringing her salary down
- MLU is a conglomeration of OCCSA and OCSA to combine the number of registered voters when we go before the legislature to make a bigger impact and have more numbers on our side
OCCSA Financial Situation
Jaxum motions to provide recommendation to the OCCSA board to pass a .85% for the OCCSA Organizer salary with a possible stipend

- I am working on the OCCSA binder with Karina, it should be done by the 25th of April and mailed off, it’s due by the 27th
- I met with Patricia Davidson about the ASG website and SWOCC’s facebook page and she got me set up so I can edit the website and post events on facebook
- I’m going to be working on the Laker Loo, but I’m not sure when I’ll be posting it, are there any events I need to put into the Laker Loo?
- United Way Day of Caring needs to be on there, Ocean Frontiers, ASG meeting, Take Back the Night, Voter Registration, we want to have it done by the 19th of April

Activities Director
- We are doing Spring Fest on May 10th, we will have three events throughout the week
- I haven’t met with Karina yet about exactly what we will be doing for Spring Fest
Clubs Director
- Clubs Rush was a big success, thanks to everyone for the encouragement and help
- We had about ten clubs at Clubs Rush
- I have a lot of meetings with Clubs to do
- I am running for President next year, so if you can, please support me
Sustainability Director
- I will get the cans out by Monday
