Call Slips for Hold Requests (cir-12)

This service produces call slips for hold requests and "Hold Request Not Filled" letters to patrons. Call slips will not be printed for items being reshelved. (Reshelving time is defined in tab14). This service is identified in the Batch Log and Batch Queue as p_cir_12.

·  Sublibrary List specific sublibrary(ies) or ALL (default) ______

·  Pickup Location Specify location within your library or ALL (default) _______

·  Item Status List item status or ALL (default) __________

·  Check Availability Check availability of items when call slips are printed. If item is available, call slip will be printed. If item is not available, a "Hold Request Not Filled" letter will be printed to send to the patron. ___ Yes - default ___ No

·  Patron Status List patron status to include or ALL (default) ______

·  Status of Requests to Process (Old/New)

___ "New" requests: prints a slip only if an item is available on shelf. If no item available, request is changed to "waiting" and "Hold Request Not Filled" letter printed. Note: "Hold Request Not Filled" letters will be saved in ADM-cir12-callslp-DH _wait

___ Old and new requests: print slips for new requests and "waiting" requests that were not caught when the item was returned to the library and are now available on shelf.

___ "Waiting" requests that are now available: "waiting" requests that were not caught when the item was returned to the library and are now available on the shelf.

___ Reset all requests to "New": resets all requests and processes them in manner above.

·  Sort Level 1, 2 and 3 Specify order in which slips are sorted. For example, slips can be sorted by subject, and then within each subject, sorted by author. To do that, select subject sort code for Sort level 1 and the author sort code for Sort level 2.
